I may be on the wrong commentary section however, I'm really not. because I have to thank and appreciate Ashros' customer services and delivery team for providing outstanding services.
First and foremost I would like to thank you Ashro, for providing and giving credit opportunities as a source to work on and establish a good credit portfolio.
Your method of payment plans are thoughtful and an outstanding tool and well needed and appreciated in this economical financial world that we live in.
Because of you, Ashro I had the opportunity to wear my outfit I ordered, (may I also add your delivery service very professional and punctual), and paying on it.
I love showing up in court for my divorce looking fabulous feeling good about myself and I won. THANK YOU ASHRO

Every Black Individual isn't a crook
I wanted to ordered 3 items for $216. 11-16-2018 that was place in August.
But for reason out of my hands a company tried to *** my account and took funds out to stop me into ordering my items from your company. But on 11-16-2018 I call to place my deposit and was told that I didn't need to and I ask your staff to that the deposit anyway but she didn't.
I don't appreciate the dirty games that being played as I wanted to play for these 3 items which I don't need at all for myself but for a friend. The first week in December I will try once again but I hope your staff treat me as an United States Citizens and not hold my race as an excuse not to serve me right and just.
Remove from collections too slow
The Absolute Worst!
I ordered the Maleeah pants in two sizes two big just to be on the safe side. When I tried them on they were extremely tight and fit like they were a size too small.
I sent them back. I then tried again for the same pants and ordered up three sizes, with the thought that maybe the first pair were a mistake. NO! This was not a mistake.
The next pair fit extremely tight as well. I called customer service to inform them that their sizing is completely off and I do not feel I should be charged for having to return the items. I expressed to them that I purchase items online all the time and have never encountered this issue. The first lady hung up on me.
The second lady said she would call me back. The third lady was completely useless and transferred me to a fourth lady. The fourth lady reassured me that she would credit my bill and that I would no longer be charged as a courtesy for the horrible sizing. Well this was a lie!
Not even a week later I received a call saying that I still owe $29.00!!! THIS IS A SCAM! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!! They obviously create items that are grossly mis-sized so customers will have to send the items back and they can then charge them.
This is not how a business should run. Charging a customer for an item they cannot use due to the companies error is ASININE!

Contact me on 901295**** This company has enough "Msterial Weaknesses" we can take em down easier than "David & Goliath"!!! Aside of all they lies they told me durimg my otdering process, notice their billing statement creatively has NO CONTACT NUMBER for Customer Concerns!
They've got "Credit Counseling", Payment Line, Order Line (who is OBLIVIOUS beyond ordering), they also have Returned checks instructions, finance charges, phone them about Billing Right (NO CONTACT NUMBER AGAIN) But "it wont preserve ypur rights", lastly, all this other verbage in their favor "ANTICIPATING A DELINQUENT CUSTOMER". They are a CROOK & A FRAUD. My bill is $90 bucks over the amount of actual items I ordered. I said to their "Im not paying that $90 over" & their Rep said "oh the Colllection Agency will get cha to pay it,.
NOBODY in that business had any-ABSOLUTELY NO knowledge of a Corporate Office, General Manager or Owner! I'M SO DONE WITH ASHRO! "As a Federal Execitive (retired) , I now have all day long to reserve my expertise to Professionally EXPLOIT companies like this!!! #AG, #CONSUMER AFFAIRS, CONGRESSIONAL INQUIRES, FBI.
FTC & ABC!
I'm NOT stopping until I see them on "American Greed" 20/20, Daily Mail-TV, etc.

Don't pass go with this company
Update as of September 7, they removed the charges. I contacted the company and informed them that I would be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau for unethical practices (which I was in the process of doing before I saw the email from the company).

Mortgage Delayed...Thanks Ashro!
Score is hurting by 80+ points because of collection and I’m not currently getting a great rate...
I called Ashro and gave them, my Full name, ssn, dob and complete address. No record found. I asked if they would be willing to send me a letter stating that the collection in question is not mine but to someone who simply shares ONLY the same last name. They simply told me, they don’t send letters.
Wow. They stated I’d have to complete an identity theft FTC packet they sent. Two things wrong with that option: 1) essentially I’m not a victim of identity theft, because the ACCOUNT IN QUESTION IS NOT UNDER MY NAME DOB OR SOCIAL. Identify theft is when the account IS opened under your credentials but You’re not aware of this.—-this isn’t the case.
2) Ashro never sent me a packet. They sent me a paper with a link. So I have to use my ink and my paper to dispute their mess up. I told the lady “Tasha” this and she stated there should’ve been a packet.
I said “I got a single paper in the mail with a link.” So I requested she send me the packet.
She then told me to use the link.
From the service alone, I wouldn’t wear this brand if I was in my casket. I cannot wait to share this story with my folks at Quicken Loans, a company that will work hard to resolve issues for their current and potential clients.
I’m supposed to be closing on my mortgage in a month and this process of disputing the account that’s not mine and is completely under someone’s information will take...up to 30 days.

The clothes stunk to high heaven

I was a customer that paid her bill on time had a credit line and was in good standing. I bought something from Monroe and main.
(Who should be put out of business ) screwed up my account I tried toresolve it by sending them a copy of my USAA bank statement. I went to purchase something from Ashro and they demanded a deposit I called customer service asking why they said because of Monroe and main the rep in the credit department treated me like I was a low life and lying when I told her to not only look at this account but the other accounts that I have with their sister companies which are also in good standing I even offered to fax her the bank statement showing that Monroe and main screwed up she Hung up I got an email from their credit department informing me that they closed my account (I never told her to close this account in our conversation ). I *** that his complaint does get to their higher ups.
Let me give you a little advice in customer service chapter 1 the customer is always right especially if she has the evidence to back her up. I am in the armed forces my friends and I use to purchase clothing from you and I am going to make sure more women do not purchase from you.
NOT PLEASED and will NEVER order from ASHRO again!
I ordered almost $1200 of church wear and hats. I received the order with no problem just in 3 different shipments which was not a problem, they informed me up front.
The ISSUES:
a) poor quality clothes - thick polyester, shiny material - absolutely NOTHING looked like the pictures in the book!
b) sizes are not true - I had to send everything except 2 items back due to sizing in addition to a above.
c) refund went fine; however I noticed that I was not refunded $116. I called to finally find out that they charged me $116 for the original shipments because I returned the items and the shipping cost is based on dollar amount not the weight of the garments or actual shipping costs. I AM LIVID!!!! Who does that????!!!!
Mind you I had to pay to ship everything back to them.

As a AA woman of 66 yrs, I have been trying to commit myself to supporting AA businesses especially since this country has always had more businesses that were not owned by AA. Disappointing to know that it's not AA owned.
Not interested in this company anymore... It's not Black Owned... They're just perpetrators.
I was about to order, but wondered if they were black owned. I will not support a business appropriating Black culture. Just cannot do it.
They should pay into a reparation fund. They are making money off off blacks as the slave masters did.

Thank you for sharing this information. After reading the reviews on how poor the quality of clothing is, I will stick with my seamstress. Keeping majority of my bucks in the Black community.
Thank you for your research on this company. Although it claims not to be Black owned, it is perceived to be based on the clothing, models, etc.
I was thinking about supporting this company (1) to support Black-owned businesses (2) some of the items are unique and stylish.
However, after reading the reviews, I will not, at all, purchase anything from this company. Thanks again for your research!
It does not claim to be black owned company either but that it has styles that are African inspired but no where does it claim to be a black owned organization. If this is only complaint then it falls short of being an accurate response to the company and the quality
The way they are handling the customer service and how they are tricking people with their credit scam, they are targeting and mistreating the black clientele. Listen up all black people, stay away from this company. They do not ever intend to provide you with quality merchandise or service.
Pictures are worth a thousand words. Then they should have white models modeling the clothes.
